Captain’s Bay Chub

Wade Landrum – Fort Myers, FL – P.O. Box 6641 – 1980’s

History

Not much is known about this Florida lure maker other than his baits were made in the late 1980’s and look much like a Creek Chub Darter. The top lip is wider and more squared off than the Creek Chub. The lure I own is saltwater rigged and the glitter was applied after varnish, 4 inches long with full cup hardware. The paint is air sprayed with a line of silver netting down the back. The eyes are yellow with black centers.

Packaging was a blister package with the following text:

CAPTAIN’S BAY CHUB
Hand Made Of Genuine Wood
In Southwest Florida
P.O. 6641
Fort Myers, Florida 33901
